DESCRIPTION:Opportunity type:  Open call\nFor: Animators \nDeadline: 17/03/24, 10:59 pm GMT         \nRewards:  Mentorship + Exposure + Accommodation\nLocation Eligibility: Some countries\n\nAbout this opportunity\nThe Stories x Women aims to identify authentic animation stories from women creators from emerging national film and audio-visual animation communities in Africa, Asia-Pacific and Latin America. The program’s goal is to support access to international opportunities for women creatives from emerging animation communities of Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America and, ultimately, to increase the diversity of voices in animation.\n \nRewards\n\nEach year, the program selects delegates from eligible countries to benefit from a series of mentoring and coaching sessions. Internationally acclaimed animation experts lead these sessions to prepare the delegates to pitch their projects at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival and Market.\nThe program pays for all participant expenses, including travel, lodging, and accreditations.\n\n \nEligibility\n\n\nThis call is open to 2 team members which must have one woman identifying, transgender or a non-binary person leading as the project holder. \nProject holder must be above the age of 18.\nAll women identifying and non-binary persons in Africa can apply for this program.\nThe project holder must have sufficient English skills.\n\n \n\nEntry Fee\nFree.\nHow to Apply\nApply using the link: Stories X Women Program.\nAll questions regarding this award should be sent to wia@womeninanimation.org.\n
